I have a super simple art teacher (really anyone can use this) packing tape paperclip hack today.
I’m on a public school art teacher budget so I don’t have a lamination machine. Our school has one but it’s small and it’s always hard to locate! Ha! So, I just do the quick and easy packing tape lamination to cover up my labels. But packing tape can be so FRUSTRATING when you can’t find the end of the tape, right!?!? (especially the really cheap packing tape that I purchase from our county’s warehouse!) So, I started doing this little paperclip trick. It works very well for me so as I was relabeling some items for the semester switch today, I thought I’d take a second and share it.
I just use a paperclip at the base of the tape and cut it above the paperclip. It holds my place perfectly and I can get everything labeled much faster! Do you have any simple hacks like this? How do you cut packing tape? Do you spend money on those cool orange packing tape dispensers?
