Update! Art Critique Worksheet Packet

I’m taking a quick moment to chime in here about updates to my (VERY) old Writing a 4 Step Critique Worksheet.  If, by chance, you purchased this item in the past, you can choose to redownload the updated version now!

Click HERE or the image to open the new version on TpT.

This is an Art Critique worksheet that asks questions about a work of art. It goes step by step (Describe, Analyze, Interpret, Judge) through the 4 step art critique process on a worksheet. It asks important questions to guide students through the critique process. Students can use the answers gathered on this worksheet to write a one to two page critique paper. I usually use this worksheet with my Art 1 classes, which include 9-12th grade students from all different learning abilities. It generally takes them about 2.5 hours to complete.

Some vocabulary terms used: nonobjective, foreground, organic/geometric shape, color schemes, aesthetic theories, imitationalism, emotionalism, formalism, etc.
